Application of the Auto Engine Crankshaft
The main rotating parts of the engine, after the connecting rod is installed, can undertake the up and down (reciprocating) movement of the connecting rod into a cyclic (rotating) movement. It is an important part of the engine, and its material is made of carbon structural steel or ductile iron, with two important parts: the main shaft neck, the connecting rod neck, (and others). The main shaft neck is installed on the cylinder block, the connecting rod neck is connected with the connecting rod big head hole, and the connecting rod small head hole is connected with the cylinder piston, which is a typical crank slider mechanism. The lubrication of crankshaft mainly refers to the lubrication of connecting rod big head bearing shell and crankshaft connecting rod neck and the lubrication of two fixed points. The rotation of the crankshaft is the power source of the engine. It is also the source of power for the entire mechanical system.
Automotive engine crankshaft machining technology - Casting
(1) Smelting
Obtaining high temperature and low sulfur pure hot metal is the key to producing high quality ductile iron. China's domestic production equipment is mainly based on cupola, and the hot metal is not pre-desulfurization treatment; This is followed by less high purity pig iron and poor coke quality. At present, the smelting method of dual plus pre-desulfurization has been adopted, which uses a cupola to melt molten iron, desulfurizes it outside the furnace, and then raises the temperature in the induction furnace and adjusts the composition. At present, the detection of molten iron composition has been generally carried out by vacuum direct reading spectrometer in China.
(2) Modeling
The air impact molding process is obviously superior to the clay sand molding process, and can obtain high-precision crankshaft castings. The sand mold produced by this process has the characteristics of no rebound deformation, which is especially important for the multi-throw crankshaft.
At present, there are some domestic crankshaft manufacturers from Germany, Italy, Spain and other countries to introduce the air impact molding process,
however, the introduction of the entire production line is only a very small number of manufacturers, such as Wendeng Tianrun crankshaft Co., Ltd. introduced the German KW casting line.
